The two things that send people back to a smartphone
Your bank wants a six digit code. You need to know if a place is open, or how to get there. Neither can be solved by texting an assistant, which is why most people end up carrying two phones.
Two-factor codes
Google Authenticator can export every account as one QR code. Scan it and they move across in a single step, with no retyping of secrets on a keypad.
Codes are calculated on the phone from the clock, so they work in a basement, on a plane, and on a month you decided not to pay. A PIN keeps them locked.

Ask for a business, a fact, or directions and get an answer sized for this screen. Phone numbers dial, addresses turn into routes. No browser, no typing, no copy and paste.
